Enabling this option will cause real-time shadows to be drawn in the game for enemies and other objects. Disable this option if the game slows down.
Enable the "Extra Detail" option in order to see additional special effects and details in the game. Disable this option if the game slows down.
Enabling "Translucency" will cause some graphics to be drawn with real-time blending effects. Disable this option if the game slows down.
"Line Skipping" will only draw every 2nd line. This is faster but looks darker and less pretty. Use this if the game slows down.
Turning this option on will cause the Escape key to delay for a second, to help prevent accidental game cancellations. (Very important if your Escape key is located right next to your game controls!)
This option will set your screen resolution to the best possible size if your monitor supports resizing. (This resizing can be bypassed by holding down the Option key while launching Mars Rising.)
